Mowsley children took to their paint boxes and produced cheerful rainbow paintings to decorate their houses and the village hall. They then, with their art work, helped to create a gallery of Happy Easter pictures to cheer up people passing by on their daily exercise .Easter eggs, Easter rabbits or bunnies and NHS letters abounded.

In order to help each other in the village during these strange times , the Parish Meeting with the participation of the villagers, has drawn up plans to supply support to its villager should they self isolate either because of the virus or vulnerability.

Many thanks to Paul and Joe Handford for erecting the new board for the cost of material only. It is very good of them to give up their time to do this. The new noticeboard has a five year guarantee so hopefully "new noticeboard" will not appear on the agenda of the parish meeting for a long time.

Two events held in the village this summer have raised nearly £1000 for local charities.
Firstly Open Farm Sunday at Brabazon Farm Saddington Road, run by Paul and Jackie Haines, raised £450 from a collection on the day and donations. The money was for to Air Ambulance which operates in Leicestershire and other local counties.
