Youth charged following Market Harborough incident

A 17-year-old from Leicester, who can't be named for legal reasons, has been charged following an incident in Market Harborough.

He was charged with possession of a bladed article, criminal damage, public order, assaulting a police officer and racially aggravated public order.

The youth is due to appear at Youth Court on 26 October.

Charitable Giving

Two events held in the village this summer have raised nearly £1000 for local charities.

Firstly Open Farm Sunday at Brabazon Farm Saddington Road, run by Paul and Jackie Haines, raised £450 from a collection on the day and donations. The money was for to Air Ambulance which operates in Leicestershire and other local counties.
